JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta Collaborates with a High-End Padang Restaurant in a Ramadan Culinary Promotion

To welcome the holy month of Ramadan this year, for the first time in the history of 5-star hotels in Jakarta, Sailendra Restaurant at JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta is partnering up with a high-end West Sumatran, Padang Restaurant.

The restaurant in question is Pagi Sore and the promotion is entitled “Ramadan Kitchen Takeover by Pagi Sore”, offering a special breakfasting package which highlights delectable signature Padang, adding more colour to other local Ramadan delights created by Executive Sous Chef, Heri Purnama.

Priced starting from IDR 380,000++ per person, Pagi Sore’s signature Padang highlights include: rendang daging, ayam gulai, ayam pop, dendeng batokok and gulai otak. The price also includes other local, Asian, as well as international delights prepared by Sailendra’s culinary team, with highlights of ikan bakar bambu, nasi campur rembiga, gecok babat, sop buntut and kambing guling, along with a wide variety of sweets, such as: bubur kampiun, bubur candil, es bandung and baklava. The price is also inclusive of ta’jil and free-flowing iced tea.

“During Ramadan, we always strive to listen to what our customers need and want for their intimate breakfast gathering with their business associates, social acquaintances, or simply family and friends,” said Adeza Hamzah, Cluster Director of Marketing of JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta & The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan. “Indonesian food is always on top the list during Ramadan and Padang food is by far one of the most sought-after menu for breaking fast,” Adeza adds.

Alongside the restaurant promotion, JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta also offers a breakfasting package in its 26 function rooms catering to larger groups. With a ‘Ramadan Night Market’ concept, the package starts from IDR 410,000 net per person, accompanied by ‘Layar Tancep’ projecting classic Indonesian movies and a middle-east Marawis band performance.

For gift-giving to friends and colleagues, JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta also offers exclusive Lebaran hampers, available in two packages; ‘Aynur Hamper’ at IDR 1,000,000+ and ‘Bayran Hamper’ at IDR 2,100,000+. These include Ramadan favourites, such as nastar, kaastengel, sagu keju, sparkling juice, Tasbih and a praying mat.
